Few people remember what was marked 50 years ago today – April 12. Few people attach importance to the great event in the history of not only the Russian people, but also in the history of all cosmonautics. And the rest are unlikely to know that Yuri Gagarin is the first cosmonaut pilot in history, was to be the second. That the first cosmonaut who flew into space on the East spacecraft was supposed to be German Titov, but the smile of Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin, which Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev, decided everything. And even fewer people know that the third astronaut, whose fate, has developed, alas, tragically. The name of this military pilot, who has not become an astronaut – Grigory Nelyubin. He was expelled from the first detachment of astronauts because of an absurd case and was exiled to serve in Primorye, where he died tragically, without reconciling with the fact that he did not become an astronaut, but focused on the successes of his friends. But do you know that all three: Gagarin, Titov, Nelyubin – recorded the same speech that was transferred 50 years ago on radio and television. And if not Gagarin flew, then we would hear a completely different voice. That maybe the famous “went” we would never have heard.
But what else do we know about those events that then happened?
Only now it became known that six months before Gagarin’s flight, there was a breakdown of the launch of the rocket, which ended with a tragedy. Then about a hundred people died.
It is also known that on Gagarin’s flight day, everything could also break due to one small problem. And much, much more. I will not paint all this. I doubt that you will read it, and the one who is interested in will read it in historical chronicles and documents.
Unfortunately, all this is forgotten by current youth, all this is replaced by other values and false idols. But this post is written with a completely different purpose ..
